If you use your insurance and First Love Yourself Counseling is an in network provider, there are a few important things you need to know:

• The insurance company sets the contracted rate which FLY Counseling gets paid.

• Your out of pocket expenses go towards this rate in one of the following ways:

  • You have a copay—this is a portion of the contracted rate—and FLY Counseling bills for the difference. The deductible is the “specialist” rate that is typically stated on your insurance card.

  • You have an annual deductible, in which case, you pay FLY Counseling the contracted rate until your deductible is met.

If you have out of network benefits, and FLY Counseling is NOT a provider for your insurance, we can provide you with receipts and superbills*, which you can submit for reimbursement (usually a percentage of the fee). You can call your insurance to get information about how this works.

If sessions are not booked online , then we require payment at the time of the session.  Credit or debit is fine, as is cash or checks made out to First Love Yourself Counseling.
